Chuck nabs babe

Nice. Caught this bit of news from EW.com.

The series Chuck is going to sizzle in the new season, with the appearance of Jordana Brewster.

The gorgeous exotic Brazilian is slated to be on the show for three episodes, as love interest for Zachary Levi.

She's the college girlfriend of Chuck, who crushed his heart when she slept with his best friend. Ahh the follies of youth.

Word is that xecutive producer Josh Schwartz had wanted to work with Brewster for some time, and this is as good as any time.

I remember reading a while back that Brewster was gonna be in the silver screen version of Mr and Mrs Smith, but that deal went kaput. I remember first seeing her in The Faculty and thought she'd be a big star. But after a couple of movies, her star seemed to dim little by little. And when I saw her in the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, it's the nail on the coffin. Her career was just abysmal.

All is not lost. She's going to be back in full babe mode in the new Fast and Furious movie. Yup, she's back, along with Paul Walker and Vin Diesel. If you ask me, I think the cast finally realised that their flames waned after the first movie, which made them full fledged stars.

Since then, at least Vin Diesel had xXx and a few other movies, but Paul Walker just had several forgettable flicks.

I enjoyed the first Fast and the Furious, and thought the second one was barely watchable. Tokyo Drift was almost not watchable, but with the original cast back again, I'm really looking forward to it.
